Dulberger was in complete shock when his entire school organized a surprise assembly in the cafeteria on March 17, 2017. Dulberger had no idea that he would be named a WCPS Teacher of the Year Finalist.

Dulberger's after school Frisbee Coding Club received media attention in April 2016 when they hosted a community event at the Discovery Station in Downtown Hagerstown, MD.

The WCPS Digital Learning Plan was entered nominated for a Washington County Chamber of Commerce Business award. Dulberger and his colleagues, including Superintendent Dr. Clayton Wilcox, were excited to receive the Leading Edge Award in February 2016.

As a leader on the WCPS Teacher Advisory Committee, Dulberger played a key role in presenting the county's digital learning plan to the seven Board of Education members. Prior to the plans approval the Herald Mail was eager to capture Dulberger and other WCPS teachers giving their presentation.

As a graduate school assignment Dulberger was tasked to write a proposal to his principal for a paid application that would increase student achievement. Dulberger never thought his article Promoting multicultural learning with Book Creator would be featured on one of the App store's most downloaded apps' website.

In March 2014 Dulberger and his students got a taste of the actor's spotlight when Warner Hanson Television and Maryland Public Schools came to Emma K. Doub to shoot a short video about PARCC Assessments. Dulberger and his students can be seen throughout the 60 second video clip on the right.
